You might have heard of being body positive, but have you heard of being skin positive?
Skin positivity is about changing the way you see your skin, because it's how you feel about it that matters most.
Whatever your skin concerns are and wherever you are on your journey, we want to help you feel good about yourself.
We've experienced first hand how heartbreaking it is when you're struggling with acne and you can't find something that works for you.
We want to help you not only get where you want to be with products that we know work, but also help you accept your skin as beautiful, no matter what you're struggling with.
What does this mean for you?
We want to help you feel more confident in your skin, with skincare products that we really believe in, and that have worked for us.
Our founders have all faced long battles with acne, before they discovered the unique formula in our products and they completely understand how you feel.
At 47 Skin, we know how hard it can be when you're battling acne, scars or skin concerns, and the constant pressure to get that 'flawless look.'
We celebrate real skin and want to make you feel good about yourself, even if you’re not where you want to be yet. We don't believe in airbrushing and we want to help you understand that flawless skin does not exist, even if it might appear otherwise.
47 Skin is the first skin positivity skincare brand. We love your skin, and we want to help you love it, too.
Does it mean I can't wear make-up or use anti-blemish products?
No! If you want to wear make-up to feel more confident, that's completely up to you. It's all about how you feel, and if make-up makes you feel good, then go for it.
We're not saying you shouldn't use products to help you heal your acne and scars (after all, that's what we do) but we don't want it to define how you feel about yourself.
Sometimes how your skin looks isn't always in your control and we want you to feel confident about it, no matter what.
Skin positivity isn't about saying you shouldn't cover up or get rid of your blemishes. It's about not letting them make you feel like you're not good enough.
It's about accepting your skin as beautiful, just as it is.
