At school, Laura was mocked for her spots, constantly felt ashamed of her skin, and would have dreaded being in the spotlight.
But now, she’s just put her face on a massive billboard at Old Street Roundabout. She was photographed with no make-up, filters or retouching, her face was blown up to cover the full three-metre height of the billboard and – to top it all off – tens of thousands of people walked past and saw it. It takes a huge amount of courage for anyone to do this, let alone someone who felt so self-conscious about their skin for so long.
What helped bring about such an epic transformation in her skin confidence was the discovery of our products. What gave Laura the confidence to share her face with the world?
1. Serum
One of the first products Laura tried. She used it morning and night and noticed a difference in only a few days. It’s formulated with our unique ingredient, Silver Chitoderm®, which removes the bacteria that causes bad skin, all while being gorgeously nourishing and hydrating. Simply work 1-2 pumps into your face and neck.
2. Cleanser
Laura uses the 47 Skin Cleanser morning and night every day, too, just before the Serum. It does everything you’d expect of a Cleanser (like removing dirt and impurities). But because it’s enriched with Silver Chitoderm®, it also removes spots, prevents breakouts and heals scars. To apply, wet your face first, massage it into the skin, then wash it off with a wet cloth or warm water.
3. Treatment Serum
To help with the more stubborn and cystic spots around her jawline, Laura will occasionally also use our more intensive Treatment Serum. Whenever Laura has big flare-ups, she finds the stronger dose of Silver Chitoderm®, strengthened by the 15% azelaic acid, very useful. How to balance your new, intensive blemishes solution:
Even if you’re an experienced blemishes sufferer (and that’s exactly who our Intensive Range is designed for) it’s worth being careful as you introduce these products. They work brilliantly together at tackling extremely stubborn, hard-to-get rid-of skin problems, but as they contain powerful active ingredients you need to start using them carefully, so your skin can get used to them.
The key thing is to introduce them slowly. There’s no need to rush it, the results will come. Start with a small application of one product and see how you get on. You know your own skin better than anyone. Once you’re sure it’s happy, you can begin to use the product more and leave it on for longer, before finally adding a second product from our Intensive Range when your skin feels ready.
